Marina Tanimoto grew up in suburban Boston. She went to college in Florence, Italy at Istituto Lorenzo de? Medici and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. During and after her studies, she interned at several fashion brands. Most recently Marina worked as a line cook at renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's abcV. Having worked in the fashion retail industry in consumer-facing roles, and in the hospitality industry in a back-of-house role, Marina brings numerous skills and a tireless work ethic to her real estate career.

Marina comes from a family of real estate and architecture professionals. Her exposure to these, in combination with her customer relationship and multitasking ability developed during her past professional roles, create a solid foundation for her new career. She has joined top agent Melissa Leifer?s Team in order to gain transactional experience and mentorship from an experienced and skilled salesperson. Marina lives in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn, and enjoys cycling, yoga, fitness and cooking. One of her favorite aspects about living in New York City is the never-ending selection of restaurants to try.
